Information meetings scheduled to discuss Proposed New Elementary Site
Full Description:
In November 2007 voters approved the funds to build a new elementary school in the northeast quadrant of the district. Original plans called for the school to open its doors to students in the 2009-10 school year; however, due to extensive growth the RRISD Board of Trustees voted to begin construction as soon as possible and open the school in the 2008-09 school year. This change will allow the district to open one middle school and three elementary schools in the fall of 2008.
