New study lauds AP courses

Two studies by University of Texas researchers conclude that taking Advanced Placement courses in high school are well worth the effort.
The larger of the two studies, which looked at more than 200,000 students attending various universities in Texas, found those who took AP courses in high school had higher GPAs, more credit hours and higher four-year graduation rates, The Washington Post reported.
